Frequently asked questions

When do my tyres need replacing?

Every tyre has tread wear indicators moulded into the grooves. Once the tread is level with those bars you're at the legal minimum of 1.5mm. Drop into our Kotara store and we'll check your tread for you.

Do I need to replace all four at once?

Not always. A pair on the same axle is often fine for two-wheel-drive cars. Many AWDs and 4WDs need all four close in tread depth to protect the driveline — we'll tell you straight which applies to yours.

Can I book tyres on a Saturday?

Our Kotara store is a weekday workshop, open Monday to Friday. Give us a call to lock in a time that suits.

Why is my steering wheel shaking at highway speed?

That's usually a wheel out of balance. A few grams of imbalance shows up as a shudder somewhere between 80 and 110km/h. We spin each wheel on the balancer and correct it.
